Are you feeling Weekend Wanderlust ~ Again?
As I was part of a fabulous Blog Tour yesterday, so sadly there is no Sunday Spotlight today.
However instead, I think it's time for a little Weekend Wanderlust! What say you, my wonderful readers?
The weather is horrid, freezing and totally BLAH, so what better way to enjoy
yourself than snuggled up in front of the fire with a good read.
Here's my latest pick of fabulous novels for you to indulge in.
One Foot in the Grave
You can run from the grave, but you can’t hide…
Half-vampire Cat Crawfield is now Special Agent Cat Crawfield, working for the government to rid the world of the rogue undead. She’s still using everything Bones, her sexy and dangerous ex, taught her, but when Cat is targeted for assassination, the only man who can help her is the vampire she left behind.
Being around Bones awakens all her emotions, from the adrenaline rush of slaying vamps side by side to the reckless passion that consumed them. But a price on her head – wanted: dead or half-alive – means her survival depends on teaming up with Bones. And no matter how hard Cat tries to keep things professional between them, she’ll find that desire lasts forever … and Bones won’t let her get away again.
Endlessly (Paranormalcy #3)
Evie's paranormal past keeps coming back to haunt
her. A new director at the International Paranormal Containment Agency wants to
drag her back to headquarters. The Dark Faerie Queen is torturing humans in her
poisonous realm. And supernatural creatures keep insisting that Evie is the
only one who can save them from a mysterious, perilous fate.
Revived
by Cat Patrick
It started with a bus crash.
Daisy Appleby was a little girl when it happened, and she barely remembers the accident or being brought back to life. At that moment, though, she became one of the first subjects in a covert government program that tests a drug called Revive.
Now fifteen, Daisy has died and been Revived five times. Each death means a new name, a new city, a new identity. The only constant in Daisy's life is constant change.
Then Daisy meets Matt and Audrey McKean, charismatic siblings who quickly become her first real friends. But if she's ever to have a normal life, Daisy must escape from an experiment that's much larger--and more sinister--than she ever imagined.
From its striking first chapter to its emotionally charged ending, Cat Patrick's Revived is a riveting story about what happens when life and death collide.
For years, Grace has watched the wolves in the
woods behind her house. One yellow-eyed wolf--her wolf--is a chilling presence
she can't seem to live without. Meanwhile, Sam has lived two lives: In winter,
the frozen woods, the protection of the pack, and the silent company of a
fearless girl. In summer, a few precious months of being human . . . until the
cold makes him shift back again. Now, Grace meets a yellow-eyed boy whose
familiarity takes her breath away. It's her wolf. It has to be. But as winter nears,
Sam must fight to stay human--or risk losing himself, and Grace, forever.
